D-Pace, Inc. Appoints Richard McElroy as New CEO to Lead Next Phase of Growth

Nelson, British Columbia — June 19, 2025 — D-Pace, Inc., a Canadian leader in commercial particle accelerator products and services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard McElroy as its new Chief Executive Officer. This leadership transition comes as D-Pace returns to independent Canadian ownership after a decade-long joint ownership arrangement with Buckley Systems.  

McElroy brings over 30 years of experience in building and leading technology companies and driving innovation to the marketplace. His track record includes being a founding equity partner and President of Symmetrics Business Intelligence Solutions, which was acquired by Calabrio Inc. in 2017While at Calabrio, he held numerous senior executive roles, including General Manager of Canadian operations, VP of Global Innovation, and eventually Senior Vice President of Global Product Management & Strategy.

McElroy officially assumed the CEO role on June 2, 2025, following a 5-month nationwide search with valuable support from Anna Cuglietta, Tracey Brook-Baker, Turning Point Talent Inc.Kalyna Bilinski, DHR Global – (Bryan Arthur, Simon Chinn, Max Morin and Jelena Vicic), Laulima Consulting Inc. – (Luc Lapalme, Brady McMahon). Kent Dehnel will continue as Director of Finance and remain an integral part of the executive leadership team.
