D-Pace vacuum chambers are designed to maintain the integrity of a high-vacuum environment, utilizing o-rings or metal seals, as per customer requirements.  If metal seals are required, several options exist, including aluminum/stainless steel bi-metal flanges from Atlas Technologies, and metalic O-rings. 

Where possible, D-Pace vacuum chambers are machined from a single piece of aluminum, however D-Pace also utilizes friction stir welding for more complex aluminum vacuum boxes.  

Stainless steel vacuum boxes are made utilizing hand TIG and robotic laser welding.
